Medical Rehabilitation in Southern Indiana
Working Towards Your Recovery—Together
After an injury or illness, a patient may find themselves affected in completely different ways than they’d expected. Because of the highly personal nature of recover, there is no one-size-fits-all solution for rehabilitative care. Patients deserve personalized care, provided by doctors who thoroughly evaluate and fully understand the patient’s unique needs. Medical rehabilitation is a long-term treatment plan, which is designed for each unique patient to address their physical and mental limitations, while restoring functioning and independence.
At Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital, our rehabilitation programs are created by a team of psychiatrists and physical therapists to meet your unique needs. We spend time getting to know you on a personal level, so we can take your goals and preferences into account as we develop your care plans. Every psychiatrist on or team has been extensively trained in musculoskeletal, neurological, rheumatological, and cardiovascular systems, so we can offer a broad range of rehabilitation services to our community in Southern Indiana.
We offer both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services:
- Inpatient rehabilitation: Our inpatient rehabilitation services occur during the patient’s hospital stay. With immediate access to their physical therapy team, patients will work together with our staff to address their needs with a carefully paced daily workout.
- Outpatient rehabilitation: For patients who do not require as in-depth rehabilitative therapy, outpatient therapy may be a better choice. Patients can live in the comfort of their own homes and will meet with our rehabilitation team for several hours a day to continue their rehabilitation treatments.
