Long Term Acute Care Services in Lincoln Park

Hospitals do not always have the resources to treat patients for the long term. Which a patient with special medical needs requires care for an extended period of time, hospitals will typically refer them to a long term acute care facility like Vibra Healthcare of Southeastern Michigan. A traditional hospital concentrates more on a patient’s short term needs, whereas we focus on maximizing a patient’s recovery by improving their quality of life and helping them regain independence.

Our hospital is part of Vibra Healthcare’s national network. This provides us with access to the latest in medical developments and research so that we can offer our patients cost-effective services designed for safety and efficiency. We are dedicated to providing outstanding care to create an exceptional patient experience.

24/7 Monitored Care

Many of the patients we receive are dealing with serious medical issues such as stroke, respiratory failure, or end stage renal disease. It is extremely important that critical care patients are closely monitored at all times so that a healthcare professional can act if their condition suddenly changes. This is why our facility is staffed 24/7 with a team of skilled physicians and nurses. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that allows us to monitor a patient’s status and detect even the slightest change.

Once a patient has advanced beyond the critical care stage, we can then begin aiding their recovery with our comprehensive rehabilitation services. Our team includes Psychiatrists, physical therapists, speech/language pathologists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, and other medical professionals knowledgeable in the best practices to stimulate recovery and restore function. We guide our patients through every step of the healing process.
