Below are comments from former patients and patient families regarding their experience at Vibra Hospital of Sacramento.
Rogelio arrived at Vibra Hospital of Sacramento suffering respiratory failure and multiple brain lesions. The 56-year-old required a tracheostomy tube to breathe. Rogelio had also suffered cardiac arrest, but was successfully revived. For all mobility and self care needs, Rogelio required total assistance. He also had total impairment with his swallowing ability. With the focused guidance of his interdisciplinary care team, Rogelio made great progress during his stay at Vibra. At discharge, he could complete bed transfers and self care tasks independently. Rogelio was able to walk both indoors and outdoors with only standby assist and without an assistive device. His swallow function had no impairment. Most importantly, Rogelio could breathe on his own again. He no longer required the trach or supplemental oxygen. Rogelio stated that the hospital workers were “super nice and helpful.” His family reiterated that the staff was “absolutely wonderful.” Rogelio is excited to return back home, and we’re so proud of him for achieving his goals!
