Mrs. Watson was living a normal life prior to falling ill. She was very active at home and in the community, a very independent woman. However in March of 2017 she fell ill, and as a result of respiratory failure found her- self-requiring ventilator support just to breathe.

On 4/11/2017 she was admitted to Vibra of Mahoning Valley. There the medical staff would get busy attempting to return her to her independent life style. The respiratory team would soon get her off of the ventilator. Speech therapy would soon have her talking and swallowing on her own. Physical therapy would have her walking in the hallways and with the help of our occupational therapy staff she would once again be performing activities of daily living. By 5/16/2017 we leave the Vibra team to attend a rehabilitation hospital so that she would finally be ready to return home. Mrs. Watson, Had this to Say, “The staff here were absolutely wonderful. They were so supportive even when I didn’t think I could do it they encouraged me through all of the difficult times and helped me to get back on my feet. I am very thankful I came to this hospital.”
