Dr. David Palestrant, MD
Dr. David Palestrant, MD is Board Certified in Neurocritical Care, Vascular Neurology, Critical Medicine and Neurology. He has spent his career taking care of patients with severe brain injuries and is a leader in the development of programs to support patients transitioning from neuro intensive care units. The goal of these hospital based programs is to provide the support and medical expertise needed to ensure patients transitioning from the neuro ICU the best chance for maximal recovery.
Curtis K. Roebken, MD
Dr. Roebken graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1971, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with extensive experience in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Roebken's combined experience includes over 30 years in private practice as well as inpatient ICU and critical care hospital settings. Dr. Roebken serves as Chief of Staff of Kentfield Hospital.
Alex Barchuk, MD
Dr. Barchuk is a Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician since 1990. He specializes in traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injuries and has directed this program at Kentfield for the past 18 years. Dr. Barchuk received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1985. He completed his internship at St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco in 1986. Between 1986 and 1989 Dr. Barchuk completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto, California.
Khashayar Mohebali, MD
Dr. Mohebali graduated from graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health. He also received his Residency and Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine in 2010. Dr. Mohebali is the Medical Director for Wound Care at Kentfield Hospital.
Isabelle N. King, MD
Dr. Isabelle N. King, MD received her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and her Critical Care Fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. King completed her Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship at University of California, Davis. She is Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. King is the Director of Palliative Care Program at Kentfield Hospital.
Charla L. Smith, FNP-C
Charla Smith, FNP-C received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Davenport University in 2016. Charla Smith completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practioning in 2018. Charla has worked in the University of California, San Francisco Cardiothoracic Surgery department and the Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit at Spectrum Health Hospitals in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Charla also taught at the Nursing Program at Davenport University.
Anucheat Chea, MD
Dr. Anucheat Chea, MD received his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Chea completed his Internal Medicine internship at the New York Medical College, Weil Medical College of Cornell University in 2009. Dr. Chea completed his Fellowship in Infectious Disease at SUNY Update Medical University in 2011. Presently Dr. Chea is the Infection Control Director at Kentfield Hospital and Kentfield Hospital San Francisco.
Jay W. Krzewinski, MD
Dr. Jay Krzewinski, MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine since 2005. He received his medical degree from University of Washington School of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Krzewinski completed his internal medicine residency at the Virginia Mason Medical Center.
Sarita Satpathy, MD, MPH
Dr. Sarita Satpathy is Board Certified, American Board of Internal Medicine since 2002; Board Certified, American Board of Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine since 2012; and Board Certified, American Board of Obesity Medicine since 2019. Dr. Satpathy is a Certified Physician Executive since 2014 and she has completed her Society of Hospital Medicine Procedural Course in 2009. Dr. Satpathy, MD received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 1999. Dr. Satpathy is a Director on the California Obesity Society Board; a Director on the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital Foundation Board; a Director on the SF Marin Medical Society Board; and a Board Member of the Kentfield Hospital Foundation. Dr. Satpathy also speaks Spanish, Oriya, Hindi and Bengali.
