Recreational Activities

Recreation is a vital component of our lives that is often taken for granted. After an injury, especially a disabling injury, the ability to engage in former activities may be limited. Recreational activities are designed to help restore the ability to engage in previous undertakings, and possibly engage in new events or activities. Participation in recreational activities improves physical, cognitive, emotional, and social functioning, all of which can assist in regaining independence.
