Ms. Gooch admitted to Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo after having been hospitalized for a little over a month, with most of the time spent in ICU for respiratory failure, dysphagia, and pneumonia. Upon admission to Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo, she was receiving all nutrition through a PEG tube for feeding and was very weak, requiring assistance or adaptive devices to perform regular daily activities that we all take for granted.
After a 14-day stay at our hospital where she worked tirelessly with therapy to regain her independence, she was able to return home with her son on a regular diet and begin enjoying everyday activities once again. When speaking with her regarding her stay with Vibra she says “I cannot say enough good things about my time there. Without Vibra, there is no way I would be where I am today!”Posted By
