Mrs. Margaret McVicker lived independently at home where she loved to cook and clean as well as take care of the other household chores. She even drove to the grocery store to do her own shopping. However in January of this year she developed a wound on the bottom of her right foot that became infected.
On February 1st she was sent to Vibra Hospital. Mrs. McVicker underwent treatment for the wound on her foot as well as antibiotics for the infection. She also underwent extensive rehabilitation to make sure that she would be able to return home to her previous lifestyle.
Within just a few weeks she could be seen walking the halls of Vibra on her own. Following her round of antibiotics as well as wound care and rehab she was ready to return home again to her previous life. Mrs. McVicker states, “The staff here was absolutely wonderful. I was really impressed with Tammy, the wound care nurse as well as the entire staff. They really helped to get me back on my feet and I am very thankful.”Posted By
