Mr. Finnick is a 93 y/o man that lived an active lifestyle prior to being admitted to the hospital and lived alone at home. In July, due to an injury he developed a hematoma in his left lower leg and was then admitted to Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley.
Upon initial evaluation he was unable to sit or stand. He had gone from being independent to being almost completely dependent. But with the hard work of the nursing and rehab staff at Vibra, Mr. Finnick would soon be on the road to recovery. He was getting himself out of bed and was walking down the hallways of the hospital. Upon discharge he was sent to an acute rehab facility to prepare him for independent living at home. Mr. Finnick had this to say, “I am really thankful for the entire staff here at Vibra. If it wasn’t for them I would still be lying in that bed. They really push and encouraged me to get better and to get back to doing the things I was doing prior to going in the hospital.”Posted By
